Ink on Paper

An ongoing series I've been working on since 2015. 

As a flight attendant, I find solace and inspiration amidst the bustling chaos of airports. Through sketching the diverse array of people passing through these transient spaces, I cultivate a sense of serenity and connection with humanity. Airportraits is a tribute to the intricate beauty and resilience of the human spirit, capturing fleeting moments of joy, anticipation, and contemplation. In this body of work, I aim to celebrate the universal and unique experiences shared by travelers from all walks of life, fostering empathy and understanding in a world often defined by borders and divisions. Through the simple act of observation and representation, I seek to remind
viewers of the common threads that bind us together.
